Many people focus solely on the front coils and rear leaf springs when aiming to "soften" the factory ride. However, the factory sway bar essentially acts as a brace that locks the axle to the frame. It's designed to perform at the vehicle's maximum load, which can lead to a less refined ride when the truck is not fully loaded. The Carli Torsion Sway Bar offers a more balanced approach by allowing a slight differentiation in side-to-side movement before progressively engaging to provide the necessary control as leverage is applied.
